Located in New Taipei City, Taiwan, The Vastness. The House Of Light is a residential project that embraces the beauty of natural light. Designed by Les Doux Concept, this house features large floor-to-ceiling windows that bring the lush greenery outside into the room. The play of natural light throughout the day marks the trajectory of time, creating a serene and ever-changing atmosphere.

The design of The Vastness. The House Of Light focuses on low-chroma colors and natural textures. The use of low-chroma colors structures the field, creating a harmonious and calming environment. The natural textures of the materials used in the design enrich the layers, adding depth and visual interest to the space.

The interior design area of The Vastness. The House Of Light spans approximately 90 square meters. The layout includes an entrance, a spacious living room, a dining room, and two bedrooms with one bathroom. The open traffic flow allows for the seamless integration of the interior and exterior, bringing the brightness of the interior and the lushness of the exterior into full view.

In the living room, a striking Angora marble TV wall is designed with an inwardly contracted center, creating a visually and acoustically pleasing effect. The silver-gray texture of the marble resembles a galaxy in the starry sky, exuding a quiet beauty in the presence of light and shadow. Wooden cabinets on both sides of the TV wall are inlaid with light beams, adding a three-dimensional hierarchy of vision.

The dining area features a center island bar with a sink, adding flexibility to its use. The warm glow of the transparent bubble chandelier, combined with the warm wood veneer, creates a calm and inviting dining environment. In the private area, the wooden element extends from the floor to the ceiling, connecting with the polished stone finish. This design choice creates a simple and tranquil sleeping environment.

The Vastness. The House Of Light was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in 2021 in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category. This award recognizes well-designed, practical, and innovative creations that meet professional and industrial requirements. The design is respected for integrating industry best practices and competent technical characteristics, providing fulfillment and positive feelings, contributing to a better world.
